Angles captured. Three frames in the grass, all from above or obliquely.
Cap 6–8 cm, dusky rose-pink, dry, broadly convex. The underside is not clearly shown in any frame.
Thin grass at the edge of the pine stand.
Superficially close to the abundant red-capped species on this walk but photographed separately and never confirmed as the same. No spore print was taken from it.
The pore surface, which none of the three frames shows.
Left as its own entry rather than folded into the abundant species. The resemblance is noted; the identity is not assumed.
