Pale clustered fruitbodies on the ground

Angles captured. Five frames, some close on the clustered pale stems and some of the white pieces lying in the litter.
Morphology
Pale cream to white, clustered, with thick branching or fused stems in some frames and separate white lobes in others. Texture appears firm rather than fleshy.
Habitat & substrate
Leaf litter and rotting wood on level ground.
Lookalikes & what rules them out
The clustered, branching habit is unlike the capped mushrooms elsewhere on this walk. Whether this is a single organism or unrelated pieces in one place cannot be settled from the frames.
To confirm this identification
Whether the parts are joined at a common base, and a cut through the flesh.
