Yellow jelly fungus
Dacrymyces or Tremella Genus

Morphology
A scattered line of small bright egg-yellow gelatinous blobs, 5–15 mm, glistening and soft, running along a barkless log; one larger fan-shaped mass 3 cm across.
Habitat & substrate
On a weathered barkless log with green algal staining.
Lookalikes & what rules them out
Same pair as the Leominster jellies — Dacrymyces on conifer, Tremella on hardwood. Host wood is a proxy, not a proof: the real separation is Tremella's parasitism of Peniophora crusts, the whitish attachment point of D. chrysospermus, or tuning-fork basidia under a scope.
