Unidentified agaric Uncertain
Angles captured. Four frames across a short stretch of trail edge.
Several pale fruitbodies of similar size, caps 3–6 cm, white to pale buff, one with a faint pink flush. Surfaces smooth to slightly scurfy.
Grass and leaf litter along the trail edge.
White-capped agarics include both harmless species and the destroying angels. Nothing in these frames separates them, and the group should be treated as unresolved rather than benign.
Stipe base — the presence or absence of a volva is the single most important character here — plus a ring, gill attachment and a spore print.
Grouped together as one population by the compiler and confirmed as correct on review.
