Unidentified agaric Uncertain
Angles captured. One from above; one oblique showing white gills and stipe.
Cap ~5 cm, pinkish buff to salmon-tan, paler at the margin, darker and slightly depressed at the centre, dry, with scattered debris. Gills white, close. Stipe white, short.
Oak litter on level ground beside a fallen branch, with low trailing herbs.
Insufficient detail. The pale gills and pinkish cap keep Russula, Clitocybe and Lactarius all in play.
Gill attachment (decurrent vs. adnate) and a latex check.
